Legal help via video

fGrab the popcorn and dim the lights. The Maryland Judiciary has a new series of instructive videos available on its website.

The Judiciary has created video presentations to help those who are representing themselves with courtroom etiquette and process.

The four videos, titled, “Defending Against a Small Claim,” “Finding Legal Help, “Service of Process,” and “Tips For Your Day in Court,” were added to the judiciary’s website this month.

The videos detail topics like how to find a lawyer, what to wear to court, how to serve someone, the best way to speak before a judge and when to arrive for a proceeding. They mostly feature a narrator explaining legal topics and defining legal terms.
