5 Md. restaurants in OpenTable’s Top 100

Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf’s Charleston restaurant in Harbor East and Brian Voltaggio’s VOLT in Frederick are two of the five Maryland restaurants to make OpenTable’s 2013 Diner’s Choice Awards for Top American Fare, the online reservation service announced Wednesday.

The others are the Bartlett Pear Inn in Easton, The Prime Rib in Baltimore and LJ’s and the Kat Lounge in Hagerstown, a local favorite whose owners moved to Western Maryland from the District of Columbia in 1958.

OpenTable says its awards reflect more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for approximately 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the Washington, D.C.
