#BmoreGivesMore drive set for Dec. 3

The Baltimore Station, a therapeutic residential recovery program that helps homeless veterans who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol to become self-sufficient, said it is among area nonprofits taking part in the local #GivingTuesday initiative on Dec. 3.

Titled #BmoreGivesMore, the program is an effort to raise $5 million on a single day to benefit more than 200 charities in and around Baltimore.

The Baltimore Station is seeking to raise $15,000 to purchase clean mattresses and mattress covers to help homeless veterans in its care get a restful night’s sleep.

Baltimore-based, a software company that connects donors with charitable organizations they are interested in supporting, is leading the #BmoreGivesMore program.
