Baltimore Gas and Electric reports the majority of its outages are in Baltimore County, where about 2,400 customers were without power Monday afternoon. Another 1,800 Baltimore Gas and Electric customers were without power in Harford County. The utility company says most outages were caused by weakened trees and tree limbs that were coated with ice coming onto power lines and other equipment.

Pepco says approximately 5,700 of its customers are without power in Prince George’s County and 3,300 in Montgomery County.
