The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., of Chevy Chase, announced the opening of The Ritz-Carlton Herzliya, its first luxury resort in Israel.
Overlooking the Mediterranean, the contemporary resort consists of 115 rooms and 82 suites and residences.
Its new kosher restaurant features the cuisine of a prominent Israeli chef, Yonathan Roshfeld.
The resort also has two new bars and lounges, a spa, a fitness centre and a rooftop pool.
Ritz-Carlton, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bethesda-based Marriott International Inc., currently operates 85 hotels in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean, and has more than 30 hotel and residential projects under development worldwide.
