Revisiting the dog bite liability voting session

The Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee Thursday voted 10-1 to approve an unamended version of Senate Bill 247, the bill sponsored by Sen. Brian E. Frosh that would set standards for liability for injuries or death caused by dog bites.

Despite the Senate changing its rules on live-streaming voting sessions, the committee opted to hold its debate offline.

The debate featured impassioned exchanges between Sen. Bobby Zirkin, D-Baltimore County, and Frosh, D-Montgomery.
