The Daily Record Thursday announced its 2014 VIP List, celebrating Very Important Professionals Successful by 40.
Forty-three young professionals will be celebrated during the fourth annual event on Aug. 20 at Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
A panel of judges that included 11 past VIP winners and a staff member of The Daily Record selected this year’s winners based on contributions to their professions and to their communities as well as their commitment to inspiring change.
These 43 outstanding Marylanders were selected from 129 nominations.
“The young professionals being honored by The Daily Record on this year’s VIP List are the ones to watch in the future,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “They value their professional accomplishments but also commit time and resources to civic endeavors which create significant, positive and long-lasting impact on Maryland.”
