Carstens, Michael LORD BALTIMOREThe Lord Baltimore Hotel has named Michael Carstens as executive chef. Carstens will oversee all food and beverage operations throughout the property, including French Kitchen, LB Bakery, LB Tavern, banquets and room service. Carstens has 15 years of industry experience, previously working for such hotel corporations as Hilton Worldwide as an executive chef, Westin Hotels and Resorts as a sous chef and banquet chef and, most recently, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts as the executive chef and assistant food and beverage director. During his culinary career in Baltimore, Carstens has also worked for the restaurant and entertainment management group Camden View Inc., Alizee Boutique Bistro and Wine Bar, and Harryman House Tavern.
