Baltimore County homeless agencies receive U.S. grants

Two of Baltimore County’s homeless services partner organizations have been selected to receive a combined $3.2 million in federal grants to serve homeless and at-risk veterans and their families, county Executive Kevin Kamenetz announced. The Department of Veterans Affairs awarded Supportive Services for Veterans Families grants to the Alliance Inc. and Project PLASE Inc., nonprofit agencies that partner with the county to assist veterans with housing and other issues. Alliance will receive $2 million and Project PLASE $1.2 million. This is the fourth year of the SSVF program.
