Lockheed firm, Copenhagen Airport partner for consulting

Beontra, part of Bethesda-based aerospace company Lockheed Martin, and Copenhagen Airport are partnering to offer a new consulting service to help airports maximize available data to improve operations, Lockheed announced. Copenhagen Airport has been named the “Most Efficient Airport in Europe” for nine out of the past 11 years by the Air Transport Research Society. The airport says it saved $10 million a year through improved staff planning at security checkpoints and an additional $25 million for check-in by operating within the airport terminal’s current infrastructure. Beontra, based in Germany, provides infrastructure planning consulting.
