Surgical pricing site launched

Rockville-based surgeon and practice medical director Dr. Sanjay Prasad has launched SurgiPrice LLC, which offers an online bidding platform for surgical care, the new company announced Tuesday. Via the SurgiPrice.com website, patients can receive data on physicians and facilities along with a price that includes surgeon, anesthesia and facility fees.  Since 2007, Prasad has offered a bundled-bid price guarantee in his Tower Oaks Surgical Center in Rockville. SurgiPrice also offers pricing on dental care.
