A leader in Russian beer is taking over Pabst Brewing Co.
Oasis Beverage announced Friday its plans to acquire Pabst for an undisclosed amount. TSG Consumer Partners, which actively invests in food, beverage and other industries, will be a minority owner as well.
Pabst is the parent company to Baltimore-born National Bohemian Beer, a.k.a. Natty Boh.
The company plans to keep Pabst’s headquarters in Los Angeles, but Eugene Kashper, founder and chairman of Oasis, plans to take over as Pabst’s CEO.
Oasis, according to its website, is the leading independent brewer in Russia.
