Ritz-Carlton adds Miami resort

Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. L.L.C., of Chevy Chase, which operates 86 hotels around the world, will assume management of One Bal Harbour Resort & Spa on Oct. 2, the company announced on Monday. The luxury resort will become The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, the 10th property in Ritz-Carlton’s Florida portfolio. The 18-story glass tower overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal waterway in a neighborhood known for its upscale shops and restaurants and the close proximity to South Beach. The hotel contains 124 suites.
