Crawford Advisors acquired by Florida-based firm

Crawford Advisors LLC, a benefits consulting and brokerage firm based in Hunt Valley, has been acquired by the Maryland subsidiary of AssuredPartners Inc., which is based in Lake Mary, Florida.
Crawford specializes in employee benefits and compliance services for mid-market and large companies. It reports about $12 million in annual revenue.
As a result of the merger, 60 Crawford Advisors employees will join AssuredPartners, but local operations will continue under the leadership of Crawford managing member Reagan Crawford.
AssuredPartners has 80 offices in 27 states and one in London. It has acquired 69 insurance firms since its founding in 2011.
