Annapolis council OKs manager, attorney

The Annapolis City Council confirmed Thomas C. Andrews  as city manager and Michael G. Leahy as city attorney at Monday night’s meeting. The vote was unanimous for both. Andrews, who has more than 40 years of government management experience, has served as health officer for Anne Arundel County and county manager for Fulton County, Georgia. Leahy, a former member of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, has served as counsel for the University of Maryland Medical Biotechnology Institute and the university’s professional schools.
