The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) recently launched Culture Fly, www.CultureFly.org, the region’s most comprehensive event calendar. Those who attended the launch event at Area 405 included community and business leaders, representatives from arts and cultural organizations, Baker Artist Award winners and Rubys grant recipients.
Serving as a hub for all things arts and culture, the new site, which replaced BaltimoreFunGuide.com, is a comprehensive resource guide and free service for audiences and organizations in the Greater Baltimore region. The site was developed to promote and build an even bigger audience for the thriving arts and culture community in Baltimore, enabling individuals and families to find new and diverse experiences.
The site was designed by Night Kitchen Interactive and includes many enhanced features, including the capability to work across all user devices, particularly mobile. Built with intuitive search and geo-location features, Culture Fly additionally recommends events, attractions and restaurants. Users also have the ability to publish and share their own events in addition to the content provided from GBCA and its affiliate partners. Culture Fly also offers exclusive discounts for upcoming arts and culture events through its new Culture Flyer, which replaced the weekly half-price FunSaver emails distributed every Thursday to more than 20,000 subscribers.
