Owings-Mills based Medifast hosted a Lean & Green luncheon at Fleet Street Kitchen for Baltimore executives and media for an exclusive sneak peek at the company’s new healthy living product line.
During the luncheon guests mingled as they tried out new Medifast snacks, including popcorn and maintenance bars, relaxed in massages chairs and received their own personal wellness assessment from Medifast dietitians.
Guests were treated to special Lean & Green lunches prepared by Fleet Street Kitchen executive chef Chris Becker. After lunch, La Cakerie chef and owner and Medifast weight-loss success Jason Hisley demonstrated how to make a quick and easy version of a healthier tiramisu.
“In the past few years, we’ve seen many shifts in the weight-loss industry. It’s impossible to look at the future of weight loss apart from healthy living and wellness,” said Brian Kagen, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Medifast. “To that end, Medifast is focused on implementing strategies that will expand our weight-management business and position us as a leader in the healthy living arena. These new product categories will encompass healthy foods and fitness tracking tools.”
