Cyber firms combine on business forms

Two Maryland cyber companies — kloudtrack of Annapolis and Formtree of Rockville — are partnering to offer secure, mobile, paperless transactions for customers. Kloudtrack is a cybersecurity and cloud computing company, and Formtree offers cloud-based, form-filling software. Under the agreement, Formtree has joined the kloudtrack Innovation Sandbox as a vendor partner. Michael Venezia, chief operating officer of Formtree, said in a statement: “As an early-stage tech company, we were looking for a sales model that would allow us to pool resources with other like-minded innovators while also leveraging other communities that have similar goals.” The Formtree-kloudtrack combination would convert paper-based, signature-gathering business forms into mobile apps — accessed on smartphones or tablets — for input on PC-based and mobile devices.
