First lady to rally voters for Anthony Brown

First Lady Michelle Obama is planning to rally voters for Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown in Maryland’s gubernatorial race.

Brown’s campaign announced Thursday that Obama will attend a campaign rally Monday in Baltimore. It’s Brown’s last get-out-the-vote rally ahead of Tuesday’s election.

Brown’s Republican opponent, Larry Hogan, has been getting regular support from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Christie is planning to make his fourth stop in Maryland on Sunday to campaign for Hogan.

Christie stopped at a diner in Glen Burnie on Tuesday with Hogan and at a Bethesda pancake house last week.

Last month, Christie attended a fundraiser for Hogan in Bethesda that netted more than $400,000.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is set to attend a rally for Brown at the University of Maryland on Thursday.
