Man charged with stabbing mother at Dundalk home

(AP) Police say a Baltimore County man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in his mother’s stabbing attack. Baltimore County Police say they responded to a Dundalk home at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday and found a woman suffering from traumatic stab wounds to her upper body. Police say their initial investigation indicates that 22-year-old Brandon Yeager repeatedly stabbed his mother, who was seriously injured but is expected to survive. Yeager was being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center on charges of attempted first-degree murder and related offenses. Yeager has a history of arrests for nonviolent crimes and a second-degree assault since 2010. He was on probation before judgment for malicious destruction of property until last April.
