Kathryn C. Mills

Assistant Director

Office of Congressional Relations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

In her five years at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Office of Congressional Relations, Kathryn C. Mills has made it her mission to help grow the presence of the office — both in the U.S. Congress and inside the agency.

“OCR is now recognized as a leadership office within the agency and called upon for advice and counsel when agency-wide decisions are made,” Mills, the assistant director, said.

Since 2009, Mills has volunteered her time at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law alumni board and currently serves as president. She also participates in mentoring programs and routinely sits on school career panels. A graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland University, she also is a member of the reunion committee.

“Working with students and helping them explore their career options and develop the skills they need to succeed is something I truly enjoy doing,” she said.
