With everything that Raegan McDonald-Mosley does, she works to make a positive impact.
That includes in her role as medical director of Planned Parenthood of Maryland and as an adjunct assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
While she is not from Baltimore, she has made the city her home because she knows she can make a difference here.
“If you merge passion and dedication with skill and knowledge, anything is possible,” she said.
McDonald-Mosely has worked with the Baltimore City Health Department to improve access to effective birth control. The goal of the project is to decrease unintended pregnancies and infant mortalities.
“It has been immensely rewarding to play such a significant role in this project and to work with such great community and public health leaders,” she said.
