JOHN ANTHONY HALL JR. v. STATE OF MARYLAND

After a jury trial in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, John Anthony Hall, Jr., appellant, was convicted of first degree assault, second degree assault, transporting a handgun, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Appellant presents the following 2 issues for our consideration:

I. Whether the trial court erred in refusing to instruct the jury on cross-racial identification; and,

II. Whether the evidence was sufficient to sustain his conviction for first degree assault.
