Devin Antonio Cooper v. State of Maryland

On September 13, 2013, following a two-day jury trial in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Devin Antonio Cooper, appellant, was convicted on one count of second degree assault. Appellant was subsequently sentenced to serve ten years in prison. In his timely filed appeal, appellant raises a single question for our consideration:
Did the trial court commit plain error in failing to instruct the jury that they must be unanimous as to the act on which the second degree assault verdict is based where [appellant] was charged with one count of second degree assault and the State presented evidence of multiple acts of assault?
