This appeal arises out of an absolute divorce granted in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County to appellant, John McNelis, and appellee, Susan Michelle Carrington. Following a four day hearing, the court granted judgment of an absolute divorce and awarded a marital award in the amount of $78,057 to appellee. Appellant filed a motion to void and/or reduce the marital award and the circuit court dismissed it with prejudice. Appellant appealed and presents two questions for our review:
1. Was the trial court’s denial of the [a]ppellant’s [m]otion without granting the [a]ppellant a hearing he requested, legally correct when Maryland Rule 2-311(f) requires the trial court to hold a hearing before rendering a decision disposing of a claim or defense?
2. Did the trial court err[] in the calculation of the marital award as the calculation was made prior to the sale of the marital home?
