Jermaine Lowery, appellant, was indicted in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland, and charged with illegal possession of a regulated firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence and related charges. After the circuit court heard and denied Lowery’s motion to suppress evidence, he entered a not-guilty plea on an agreed statement of facts. Lowery was found guilty of illegal possession of a regulated firearm and sentenced to five years without possibility of parole. In this timely appeal, Lowery asked:
