Comcast grants go to 10 groups

The Comcast Foundation awarded $135,000 in grants to 10 nonprofit organizations in Maryland in 2014, the foundation said Monday. The grants focused on programs that target expanding digital literacy, promoting community service and building leaders. Those who received grants are: Associated Black Charities; Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake; Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Westminster; CASA de Maryland (Prince George’s County); Family League (Baltimore city); Harford County Library; Identity (Montgomery County) and Passion for Learning (Montgomery County).
