First for 2U: online doctorate

Landover-based 2U, which provides cloud-based education-related software, announced the start of the first online doctorate offering from a 2U-partner university — the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education’s Ed.D. program. The class of 60 students began this week. Rossier’s online programs feature a blend of live class sessions, online self-paced coursework and hands-on, field-based experiences.
