ERIC G. DAY v. STATE OF MARYLAND

A jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County convicted Eric G. Day of attempted voluntary manslaughter and associated offenses. Day appeals as of right to challenge the circuit court’s denial of his motion to suppress. The State agrees that the circuit court erred, and urges that we remand this matter to the circuit court to conduct a new suppression hearing. We shall do so and briefly explain.
