House of Ruth Maryland launches ‘Man Up’ campaign

The House of Ruth Maryland recently launched their “Man Up” campaign, with support from The Baltimore Ravens at The Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore.

More than 150 guests and supporters attended in an effort to encourage all citizens, businesses and organizations to join in the initiative, which encourages men to get involved in changing behaviors and the attitudes that perpetuate abuse, and to foster healthy partner relationships. The high-end event was hosted by Jamie Costello, of WMAR-TV, and featured an unveiling of a PSA featuring Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith. Guest speakers also included Ravens President Dick Cass and defensive end Chris Canty.
