TROY JAQUAN GEE v. STATE OF MARYLAND

Following a non-jury trial in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Troy Jaquan Gee, appellant, was convicted on four counts each of third degree sexual offense, fourth degree sexual offense, and second degree assault. This timely appeal followed, and appellant presents three questions for our review:

1. Did the court below err by denying Appellant’s motion to dismiss based on a violation of his constitutional right to a speedy trial?

2. Did the court below err by excluding evidence crucial to Appellant’s defense under the Maryland rape shield statute?

3. Is the evidence legally insufficient to sustain Appellant’s convictions?
