TORREY LAMONT LOVE v. STATE OF MARYLAND

After a four-day jury trial in the Circuit Court for Allegany County, Case No. 01-K-11-13972, Torrey Lamont Love, appellant, was convicted of three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of reckless endangerment, stemming from two separate incidents in Cumberland. Appellant, who was sentenced to consecutive twenty-year terms of imprisonment on two of the robbery convictions and a concurrent twenty-year term on the third robbery conviction, presents the following questions for our review: 1. Did the trial court err in restricting [a]ppellant’s right of cross-examination? 2. Did the trial court err in improperly admitting prejudicial other crimes/bad acts evidence? 3. Did the trial court err in allowing the improper bolstering of [accomplice] Christopher Pringle’s testimony? Because we conclude there is no preserved error, we shall affirm the convictions.
