Chandler wants to stay as Towson prez; Smith not interested

The interim president of Towson University says wants to continue on as the official president. "I will be putting my name in," Timothy J.L. Chandler told a town hall meeting of faculty, staff and students Tuesday. "Until you all tell me not to," he added with a smile. Chandler has served as interim president since the retirement of Maravane Loeschke for health reason in December. He served as acting president for four months before that, while Loeschke was on leave.
