ANNAPOLIS — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan says after 60 hours of chemotherapy treatments for an aggressive form of cancer he’s feeling “healthy and strong.”
In a posting on his Facebook page Monday night, the governor says he is “doing great.” Hogan announced last week that he’s been diagnosed with an advanced stage of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He said the cancer responds well to treatment and his prognosis is good.
The Republican governor says “prayers, positive spirit and supportive comments” he’s received in the last week have given him strength and positivity.
Hogan has pledged to continue working while undergoing treatment for the disease. He has designated Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford to make decisions on his behalf if he becomes incapacitated.
