Kinglet offering incentives for referrals

Kinglet, the locally based website aimed at finding small businesses office space to sublease, is trying to entice real estate brokers and consumers to send referrals with a new rewards program.

The rewards program, which launches Tuesday, will offer a variety of incentives, including an Apple Watch, Southwest Airlines credits and a Starbuck’s gift card.

“Many commercial real estate companies see office-sharing and coworking as a threat to the traditional system, but the industry is large and there will always be room for different models of service,” said Alex Kopicki, CEO and co-founder of Kinglet.“Our referral program was designed to reward consumers for helping us build up our guest community, but we also see it as a way to financially reward commercial brokers who may be experiencing a shift in their own clientele.”

Kinglet launched last September as a reboot of the website retrievRE, which was designed to operate as a a commercial real estate version of residential tools like Zillow and Trulia.
