Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore

As chief market analyst for the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, Patrick Dougherty monitors trends in local economic development to compare the Baltimore region with the U.S. and other regional economies.

His research helps the EAGB in its efforts to identify areas of opportunity for growth in the region and helps prospective companies in their decision to grow in Baltimore.

“I construct a data-driven picture of how a business can benefit from operating in Greater Baltimore,” Dougherty, 24, said. “I’m able to synthesize information about Baltimore from disparate sources and communicate a clear narrative describing why Baltimore is a world-class place to live, work, learn, and invest.”

He also is responsible for the publication of thought leadership reports for EAGB and partner organizations.

Dougherty also remains active in the community outside of EAGB. In 2014, he graduated from Business Volunteer Maryland’s GIVE program and serves as an Orioles analyst for Baltimore Sports and Life.
