Talley Kovacs’ practice at Pessin Katz Law, PA, focuses on complex civil litigation, insurance coverage disputes and business litigation. She has motions and trial experience in state and federal courts.
She worked in public policy, homeland security and public health and clerked for the Hon. Clayton Greene, Jr. on the Maryland Court of Appeals prior to entering private practice with Pessin Katz in 2011, where she serves as a senior associate attorney.
As part of her civil litigation practice, she is a member of the PK Law’s “Flood Team,” a group of attorneys who represent a national insurance carrier in ongoing catastrophic claims across the country related to storm damage and has contributed to a unique case management process that allows the firm to handle a large volume of complex first party property damage cases in an efficient and effective manner.
Kovacs also is an ambassador for the United Way of Central Maryland, Emerging Leaders United, and a member of the alumni board of the Francis King Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland, among other community groups. She is a long-time supporter and former member of the board of directors for the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance.
