A parking company with more than 220 locations in Washington, Maryland and Virginia will lay off 60 people in Maryland, the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation announced on Monday.
Washington-based Colonial Parking plans to lay off as many as 60 people at the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda when its contract ends Oct. 13.
A spokesperson for Colonial Parking was not immediately available for comment on Monday.
The department said it would reach out to the company to provide services as needed.
