William H. Cotter has joined Offit Kurman, a law firm with offices in Baltimore and Maple Lawn, as an associate in its Philadelphia office. Cotter will focus his practice on business services and estates and trusts. Cotter’s business services experience includes representing individuals, fiduciaries, and closely-held businesses in a wide range of matters, including corporate formation, employment agreements, shareholder, partnership and operating agreements, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and analyzing business structures for legal, liability, and taxation issues. In his practice, he also regularly handles both residential and commercial real estate matters for individuals and corporate clients. As an estates and trusts practitioner, Will has experience in estate planning, estate and trust administration, family business succession planning, federal income, estate and gift taxation, charitable giving, and tax-exempt organizations.
