The Women’s Law Center has named Ardena N. Githara, Steven Klepper and Nicole Windsor to its board of directors.
Githara brings with her a vast knowledge of nonprofit management, as well as a dedication and passion for advocacy on behalf of women’s rights. She currently serves as a senior grants manager for a federal agency. Githara also is the founder and president of PENN Training Consultants which provides tailored one-on-one development and management consultation sessions to individual clients from a variety of fields.
Klepper is a lead attorney in Kramon & Graham’s appellate practice. With more than 13 years of successful appellate experience handling civil and criminal cases before federal and state appellate courts, Klepper advocates for clients in complex matters involving a range of legal issues from commercial litigation to constitutional and civil rights. A dedicated supporter of women’s rights, Klepper views feminism as both a women’s issue and a human rights matter.
Windsor currently heads Bowie & Jensen’s employment law department where she works with clients to implement employment policies and practices designed to keep them in compliance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as representing employers in legal proceedings. She utilizes her experience to guide clients to fair employment practices which benefit both the employer and employees. Prior to law school, Windsor worked in fundraising research, grant writing, and government related positions, as well as on a gubernatorial campaign.
