The John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation recently named 13 new members to its board of directors. The John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing knowledge about how exercise, diet, relationships, and health care fit together to benefit mental health. Joining the organization were Chris Costello, Dr. Gail Daumit, Christopher R. D’Adamo, Jan Desper, Bruce Dunham, Tom Feeley, Dr. Christopher Gibbons, Jon Knight, Dr. Dan Morhaim, Dr. Gary Pasternack, Wanda Smith, Stuart Sutley and Audrey Whetsell.

Costello is a former vice president of marketing and human resources for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and currently a member of Public Sector Consulting Group LLC.

Daumit is an associate director of the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

D’Adamo is an assistant professor of family and community medicine at the University of Maryland, Center for Integrative Medicine.

Jan Desper is executive director of Black Mental Health Alliance for Education and Consultation Inc.

Dunham is a senior vice president with Wells Fargo Advisors.

Feeley is a vice president at DSM Nutritional Products.

Gibbons is chief health innovation officer at the Federal Communications Commission.

Knight is executive chairman of Synap Inc.

Morhaim is a practicing physician at Sinai, Northwest and the University of Maryland hospitals and a Dist. 11 Maryland State Delegate.

Pasternak is CEO of Asklepion Pharmaceutical LLC, and director of the division of molecular pathology and the graduate program in pathbiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Smith is founder and CEO of Symphony Placements.

Sutley, is president and managing partner of Total Health Management Inc.

Whetsell is co-founder of Resource Partners LLC
