Under Armour’s latest ad features two of the brand’s latest additions: its new Healthbox wearable devices and the voice of one its newest ambassadors, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Released earlier this year, the UA HealthBox, was made in partnership with HTC and includes a wrist tracker, a heart-rate chest strap and a wireless bathroom scale with a $400 price tag. The kit is part of the Baltimore athletic brand’s quest to get users to gather as much data about their bodies and workouts as possible.
As part of his partnership with Under Armour, Johnson is promoting Under Armour’s Connected Fitness platform, specifically the new HealthBox and Record applications and is developing apparel inspired by his upcoming films including “Baywatch,” “Signature Hobbs” and “Fast & Furious 8.″
