Criminal procedure — Motion for mistrial — Testimony regarding “stolen” firearm

Appellant, Morgan Felix White, Jr., was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, and wearing, carrying, or transporting a handgun.

Appellant raises the following question for our review, which we have rephrased: Did the lower court properly exercise its discretion when it denied appellant’s motion for a mistrial after testimony was that the firearm in question was stolen?
