Md. court: Changes to sex-offender registration do not violate ex post facto

State laws requiring convicted sex offenders to register more often and provide more personal information to law enforcement do not violate the constitutional prohibition on imposing later-enacted punishments on earlier-committed crimes, Maryland’s second-highest court has ruled.
