A Maryland publisher of collectible horror and suspense books has just published hardcover and electronic editions of a book by Stephen King and Richard Chizmar.

Cemetery Dance Publications, which is based in Forest Hill, has published “Gwendy’s Button Box,” the first collaboration between the two authors.

The story is described by Cemetery Dance as the coming-of-age story of twelve-year-old Gwendy Peterson, who spends the summer of 1974 running the “Suicide Stairs” that connect Castle Rock to the Castle View Recreational Park. The novella marks a return to King’s fabled town of Castle Rock, Maine.

The book is available through Cemetery Dance Publications and major booksellers. The audio version is available from Simon & Schuster.
