OMAR QUDAH v. STATE OF MARYLAND

Criminal procedure — Motion to suppress evidence — Video surveillance

A jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County convicted Omar Qudah, appellant, of second-degree assault.

He presents three questions on appeal, which we have consolidated into two: 1. Did the court err in denying appellant’s motion to dismiss based on a Hicks violation? 2. Did the court err in admitting the video surveillance evidence?
