Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino will host the East Coast’s first Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant.
The first Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant opened in Las Vegas in 2012, and its second location in Baltimore is slated to open before the end of the year in the space currently occupied by Jack Binion’s Steak on the casino’s first floor.
Ramsay, a multi-Michelin star chef known for his appearances on “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Masterchef,” said he’s looking to bring a unique menu to the Baltimore location.
“I’m thrilled to be coming to Baltimore, a really exciting and emerging culinary city,” Ramsay said in a news release. “Our exceptional team is developing a menu that will combine the best dry-aged beef, finest seafood and freshest locally-sourced ingredients to create a unique Charm City dining experience.”
Ramsay’s beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding dishes, from the Las Vegas location, will be signature items on the Baltimore menu, according to the press release.
The deal represents a growing partnership between Caesars Entertainment, which owns and operates Horseshoe, and Ramsay.
“Gordon Ramsay Steak set a new standard for excellence in Las Vegas – a city known for its world-class dining – and we anticipate doing the same here in Baltimore,” Horseshoe Baltimore Senior Vice President and General Manager Erin Chamberlin said the statement.
