Tenable Network Security Inc., a cybersecurity firm in Columbia, announced record second-quarter results on Monday.
Tenable had more than $50 million in billings, representing more than 50 percent growth from the prior year. The company also had more than 50 percent growth in the first half of 2017. A spokeswoman for the private company would not disclose whether it had a profit or a loss.
Additionally, the company added more than 1,000 new customers in the quarter, including more than 100 new enterprise customers, and opened an international headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Tenable said it also migrated from a perpetual license model to a subscription license model, increasing its percentage of recurring revenue over a two-year period to 90 percent in the first half of 2017.
