I still remember where I celebrated after finishing the Maryland bar exam 25 years ago this month – I just can’t recall having paid the tab or leaving the Rio Grande Cafe in Bethesda.
That’s where I consumed several of the restaurant’s signature drink – The Swirl – after spending the past two days answering multiple-choice questions on common law and writing essays on Maryland law. In keeping with the state’s traffic laws, I was driven home from the restaurant – or at least that’s what I’ve been told.
