Stertil-Koni U.S.A. Inc. has made a new feature available for its Diamond Lift, an in-ground telescopic piston lift.
The Stevensville-based maker of vehicle lifts said its new continuous recess system’s moveable lifting unit for the Diamond Lift is an industry first for piston lifts in North America. Stertil-Koni developed the continuous recess system for its full-rise, axle-engaging in-ground scissor-lifting system, the Ecolift.
With the new system, the lifting bolster can move horizontally within the lift’s range of travel without having to be elevated. That reduces the time needed to set up the lift, while increasing safety, according to the company.
The Diamond Lift can lift up to 35,000 lbs. per piston and can have up to three pistons. It is designed to accommodate vehicles with very low ground clearances.
